Technology through the lifecycle of a projectCI 101 Series in collaboration with SMPS-CT

As technology continues to advance our productivity and communications in the workplace and our lives, so does the plethora of options we must choose from to stay current. How do we decide what we should invest in? This educational event will review technology that is currently driving the A/E/C workforce, cutting edge technology gaining traction, and technology on the horizon. We will discuss tools designed to help us manage our workflow more efficiently, communicate with our project teams more effectively, all the while managing big data with quick accessibility and real time group sharing.

In conjunction, we will analyze different user group needs and brainstorm ideas to make project data flow. Imagine if we could create useful and usable information throughout the project that gets carried all the way to the end users, without recreating it each step of the way, in a vacuum?

Join us in learning what technology could be ideal for your particular discipline and your particular firm. Whether you are looking to become more tech-aware, or already tech-savvy and want to hear what’s next; come join the conversation!

  • Learn what technologies are out there and are proving to be effective within various user groups.
  • Learn how BIM can minimize challenges from user group to user group.
  • Hear about the next wave of opportunities in technology.
